My Bio
I have always had an interest in textiles and garment design. My company, Fashion Moves Inclusive Designs is building a bridge between the Fashion/Garment Industry and People with disabilities.
Also, in support of Artist who have a disability, we have initiated our Artist In Residence (AiR) programme. Our first AiR is Tiffanee Griffiths. After having both of her hands smashed in a targated attack in 2009, Tiffanee is re-emursing herself into her art. You can see her Primary work, The Dancer, and order a limited print today. All prints are numbered and signed by the Artist.
Have you ever wondered who designs ski suits and other athletic gear for Paralympic Athletes?  Where does someone in a wheelchair find a business suit or formal dress that fits them properly and is comfortable to wear?  How can a leg amputee wear skinny leg trousers? These are only some of the questions Fashion Moves is about to address - with your help. Join us now and register for the 1st Annual Fashion Moves Garment Design Competition.  People from around the World are already taking part.  Why don't you? Visit our blog at www.fashionmovescompetition.blogspot.com see you there. Ruth

Merry Christmas and all the best :D
Please welcome our 1st Artist in Residence, Tiffanee Griffiths. The Dancer is our signature art during the next year. Please visit our Blog to see a copy of The Dancer, and meet Tiffanee.
I truly think this is a great idea and will try supporting you. I'm not a clothes designer, so can't participate, but will give my best to help you spread the word. Expect me to write about this in my next journal (will let you know).
Wow, that was fast! I have just joined. Thank you for your comments and your support. If you know someone with a disability that would like to know about our work, please feel free to provide them with my name and blog URL.
I am in Western Canada. Where are you?

Oh, I'm pretty far away, Europe, Serbia...but these things luckily have little to do with space. I knew few people who would need this. For people with disabilities, the situation with clothes, let alone fashionable, is pretty low here...so I think some of my friends will really appreciate this showing up, anywhere in the world.
What I think is more important, is that I know several designers and people who might be interested, outside where I live...so, for starters, there will be my journal with your data and then we'll see. I'll try to help the news spread :)
